The Charity sends shoeboxes for families and the
elderly to a number of destinations in Eastern Europe, including
Romania, Albania, Moldova and the Ukraine. The recipients are chosen
as a result of work throughout the year with the poorest and those
who live on the edge of society without help from the state.
Last year was another difficult for everyone again,
but in spite of that we received 286 shoeboxes for the Charity.
Thank you to all those who gave so generously.
Di Miller is our Area Receiver and gathers in
the shoeboxes from our donors. As many as possible are packed into
cartons and they then picked up by van on their way to the Link to Hope
warehouse ready for transport to their final destination.

are banned by Romanian Customs regulations.
If you are collecting for a Church or Group, if possible please
fill in an on-line delivery note so that you can receive a "thank
you" letter. If this is a problem, don't worry as we can help
you when you bring the boxes to us.
For security reasons Link to Hope would prefer to receive the £3
fee for the shoeboxes by direct payment either by cheque or "on-line"
payment to their account Natwest Bank,
Sort Code 60-24-31, Account Number 12677949
However, we can receive the money and get it to the charity for
you if you would like our help.
